The annual European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR) is the main European forum for the presentation of new research results in the field of Information Retrieval. In 2013, the 35th ECIR conference (ECIR 2013) will be held in Moscow, Russia from the 24th to the 27th of March 2013.
Since 1978, ECIR has successfully brought together leading researchers and developers from the information retrieval community in Europe and increasingly in recent years from across the world. The conference focuses on established and emerging problems in the field of information retrieval and helps to shape future research directions through the publication of high quality, applied and theoretical research findings.
ECIR 2013 will feature high quality programme including long and short papers, posters, demonstrations, workshops and tutorials as well as an Industry Day. Attendees at ECIR will be exposed to results and experiences from the latest research and be able to network with the leading researchers and practitioners in the field in the field of information retrieval.
